Divisions and Schools


The academic programs at Lindsey Wilson are organized into five divisions and two schools.

School of Business
The mission of the School of Business is to prepare students for employment in business, accounting, and computer information systems; to pursue career paths of increasing professional and managerial responsibility; to apply to graduate programs in business, accounting or other professional schools; and to sit for various professional certifications.
Division of Education
The mission of the Education Division is to prepare candidates in a Christian learning environment with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions required to be successful, reflective teacher-leaders in the 21st century.
Division of Humanities & Fine Arts
The Division of Humanities and Fine Arts cultivates a learning community within the larger Lindsey Wilson College community that challenges and supports our students.
Division of Science
The mission of the Division of Science at Lindsey Wilson College is to meet the educational needs of students in the mathematics, the natural sciences and the behavioral sciences domains.

Nursing & Health
The mission of the Division of Nursing & Health is to provide quality undergraduate nursing education that prepares students for baccalaureate-generalist professional nursing practice.
School of Professional Counseling
The mission of the School of Professional Counseling is to address the diverse academic and community needs of Appalachia and other regions through dedication to academic excellence and professional integrity where students obtain a solid professional knowledge and skills base.

Social Science & Interdisciplinary Studies
The Division of Social Science & Interdisciplinary Studies offers an intellectually stimulating liberal arts education that provides students with both curricular and extra-curricular opportunities to deepen their understanding of human behavior and relations.
