Freshman Seminar

"Freshman Seminar" is a highly interactive, one-credit hour course typically taught by a student's Freshman Advisor. It is designed to assist first-year students with the transition to college life on academic and social levels. The course helps students understand how to be successful in college by identifying and practicing skills and behaviors. As a result, students are better prepared and equipped to better handle everyday challenges and stresses of college.

Service Project

During "Feshman Seminar," students participate in a service-learning project. Freshmen discover what it means to serve someone outside themselves. It is a great way for students to see learn how they can shape the world by lending a helping hand.
