Mission

 The mission of the Lindsey Wilson College Business and CIS division is to prepare students for advancing employment in accounting, computer information systems, business management and human resources management; to pursue career paths of increasing professional and managerial responsibility; for application and admission into graduate programs in business and accounting or other professional schools; and for preparation to sit in examination for professional certifications.  Consistent with the historical mission of the College as a liberal arts teaching centered institution and in accordance with the guidelines of its accrediting body, the International Assembly for College Business Education (IACBE) the Business and CIS division is committed to the growth and development of students through value-centered classroom instruction and cooperative learning experiences and through the awakening of an appreciation for life-long learning.

The Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration is accredited by the International Assembly of College Business Education (IACBE).

The Business Administration program provides students the opportunity to acquire knowledge, skills and traits needed to pursue career aspirations; gain admission to graduate or professional programs; and successfully pursue professional certification. Business Administration majors concentrate in either accounting or management.

Our well-balanced and academically sound business programs are fully accredited by the International Assembly of College Business Education (IACBE). IACBE accreditation tells potential employers that Lindsey Wilson's business majors are graduates of a quality program with a rigorous curriculum.

Our business programs are designed to foster critical thinking skills; prepare students to become lifelong learners in rapidly changing business environments; and instill a global vision to manage and lead organizations, and businesses in an ever-changing, challenging, and complex world our graduates will face.
