Nursing
MissionThe mission of the Nursing Division
is to provide quality undergraduate nursing education that prepares
students for baccalaureate-generalist professional nursing
practice.

Welcome to the Lindsey Wilson College (LWC) Nursing
Division! On behalf of the nursing faculty and staff, we
welcome you and invite you to explore our website to find
information regarding the nursing program. Currently, the
Lindsey Wilson Nursing Division offers a Bachelor of Science in
Nursing (BSN) degree. After a student completes pre-requisite
admission requirements, the traditional (generic) BSN program can
be completed in a three year format (six consecutive semesters).
Many students complete the program over a four year
period.
Essential information related to the program is offered in the
tabs and links on the website. If you cannot find the
information needed, please email nursing@lindsey.edu.
As part of the overall mission of the College, the Nursing
Division serves the educational needs of our students by providing
a living-learning environment within an atmosphere of active caring
and Christian concern where every student, every day, learns and
grows and feels like a real human being. We are a part of one
of Kentucky's, and the nation's, fastest-growing and most diverse
independent liberal arts colleges.
At Lindsey Wilson, the focus of teaching and learning is indeed
Every Student, Every Day.
On this website, you will find the Nursing Division mission and
vision statements, philosophy, program requirements, curriculum
information, faculty and staff listing, directions to the campus
and other important links.
We are physically located in the Bob & Carol Goodin Nursing
& Counseling Center on the Columbia Campus. This
beautiful state of the art facility opened Fall 2011. The
main nursing offices, the Simulation Learning Center, classrooms
and other resources are offered in this building.
You have made an excellent choice for continuing your education
at Lindsey Wilson. The discipline of nursing is filled with
an array of professional opportunities and personal
fulfillment.
Again, I welcome you to Lindsey Wilson College, I am confident
we can assist you in achieving very rewarding educational and
personal goals.
Warm regards,
Dr. Marian Smith RN
