Biography:
Originally from Texas, I have lived in
Kentucky since 1993. I began at LWC as a full-time adjunct
instructor, teaching in the Human Services and Education Divisions,
including courses in Columbia and in the Community Campus program
in Eastern Kentucky. My current position includes maintaining
compliance with accrediting agencies and coordinating policy and
practice for the School of Professional Counseling. I provide
Spanish-English interpreting services and acculturation training in
the local community. I have two children who keep me
enthusiastically involved in many activities, including sports,
reading, music, nature and playing.
