Biography:

I am an early career psychologist who is passionate about educating the future generations of mental health service providers in Kentucky. I maintain a small private practice in Louisville, KY which provides services to a wide range of clients. I particularly enjoy the balance of academia and clinical work, as both inform and enrich the other. I have had the opportunity to teach at many different LWC campus locations and meet many bright and hardworking students. I appreciate good and challenging classroom discussion, where we can all learn from, encourage, and challenge one another. I strongly value diversity in thought, being, and expression - and I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all my students. Some of my areas of interest include gender, sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, family-of-origin, attachment, shame, and identity development.
