Kimberly, is a full time faculty instructor here at Lindsey Wilson College ~ School of Professional Counseling in the Southern Appalachian Region/Region II. She has fourteen years of experience in Early Childhood Education, and continues to keep her Child Development Associate credential current. She worked for the state of KY as a Family Support Specialist II.  She has been a coordinator and instructor for LWC~SPC for nearly six and a half years.  She served as the President of the Cumberland River Kentucky Mental Health Counseling Association from 2012-2014; Vice-President for her county's Chamber Board 2012-2014; Secretary for Leadership Harlan County United 2003-Current; Parliamentarian for the Eastern Kentucky Social and Civic Organization (TN Chapter) 2009-Current; as well as a host of other community affiliations and services. Her efforts as teaching in the Counseling and Human Development programs is to ensure that students, on the master's levels, are prepared for the Human Services and Mental Health workforce. She is eager to help students and their communities grow and develop.
