Dr. Lambert comes to LWC after 10 years of teaching experience in higher education.  He has a great love for teaching and practicing, which is one of the reasons he's excited to be a part of the SPC family. Dr. Lambert is passionate about training future professionals to service mental health communities in Kentucky. Clinically he is a generalist that works primarily with adolescents and adults. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including community mental health, private practice and university counseling. His research interests include factors predictive of academic success in graduate students, online education, clinical assessment and cross-cultural practice, specifically with gay and lesbian clients. Dr. Lambert is the Resident Faculty Supervisor for the Shelbyville campus.
