The mission of ACES (Achieving Collegiate Excellence & Success) is to help freshmen connect with the LWC community. ACES' goal is to ensure that every freshman who steps on the A.P. White Campus:

• feels accepted by upperclassmen;
• is involved in campus activities;
• is successful in their academic pursuits;
• realizes the impact they can make through service.

ACES offers several activities throughout the year to connect freshmen to the LWC community, including an annual spring break service trip. These activities help develop community and identity within the freshman class, as well as the student body as a whole, by providing opportunities for leadership and service.
