The Associate of Arts degree in Health Science is designed for students who desire to get a head start on pre-professional programs in the health sciences at other colleges and universities.  Successful completion of the program, with careful selection of electives and general education options, will prepare a student for transfer to colleges and universities in pre-pharmacy, pre-veterinary, and pre-medicine.  Of course, completion of the program in and of itself does not guarantee transfer to any school.  It is essential that a pre-professional student maintain close and continuing contact with her or his adviser and the receiving college or university.
