Biography:
Mike Giordano has a B.A. in History/International Relations, and
J.D. from the University of Florida. He came to Lindsey Wilson
following a 27-year law career during which he was a prosecuting
attorney and later a criminal defense specialist in trial,
appellate and post-conviction areas at both state and federal
levels.
Mike wrote the Eleventh Circuit Criminal Caselaw
Companion , a research text for criminal defense attorneys;
and Writing the Effective Appellate Brief , a legal
writing guide for appellate lawyers.
While practicing law, Mike taught evenings at two colleges, then
full time at the University of Florida Law School. After teaching
in Prague, Czech Republic; and in the criminal justice department
at a college in Virginia, he has now "found his home" at
Lindsey. Mike enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge of, and
experience in, the criminal justice system with our students.
