| Biography:
Janette Ralston came to Lindsey Wilson College in 2008 as an
associate professor. She serves as the coordinator of the
integrated music education program, coordinator of the art
education program, as well as the coordinator for the Master of
Education - Teacher as Leader program. She lives in Bowling Green,
KY with her husband, who is also in the education profession, and
her son, Sam. Her daughter, Jesse, and her husband live in
Louisiana.
Dr. Ralston began her teaching career in Kahoka, MO. at Black
Hawk Elementary School and Clark County R-I High School. Since then
she has taught music in Illinois, Texas, and then again in Missouri
at Clarence Elementary School in Clarence, MO., and Shelby County
R-IV High School in Shelbina, MO. After receiving her doctorate,
Dr. Ralston worked for three years in professional development at
Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. In 1999, Dr. Ralston
moved to Natchitoches, LA., to teach music education at
Northwestern State University and maintained that position for
seven years. She has continued teaching in higher education since
her move to Kentucky in 2006.
