Biography:
Dr. Ferguson teaches in the English and Women's Studies
programs. Her primary research interest is contemporary Irish
literature. Additional research and teaching interests include:
women's literature and activism, World literature, modern British
literature, the novel, and Post-colonial theory. Her latest
article, "The Subversion of Supernatural Lament in the Poetry of
Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill" will be published in an upcoming issue of
Women's Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal. Some of Dr.
Ferguson's recent courses at Lindsey Wilson are Literary Cultures:
Irish Drama, Global Literature, World Literature, Literary
Interpretation, and Women in Global Perspective.
