Students who join the Global Learning Community, benefit from social programming, academic programming, and shared classes that consider issues and content important to understanding global issues and today's interconnected world.  Start exploring the globe now!

Who Can Join?
All incoming freshmen who are interested in understanding other cultures and people are invited to join.   Students with interests in any major offered at Lindsey Wilson will benefit from Going Global!

What classes are part of the Global Learning Community? 

• Freshman Seminar (Benson Sexton)
• English Composition (Tim McAlpine)
• World Civilization I (Asa Swan)
• Public Speaking (Benson Sexton, Laura Burwash)

 What service projects will the Going Global members do?
The Global Learning Community students will choose a service project in their freshman seminar class focusing on making a positive impact globally.  Projects and ideals are limitless

What other special activities are planned?
The Global Learning Community students will travel to a nearby city to explore international festivals, museums, plays, and cuisine.  The students will assist with Lindsey Wilson College's International Festival.
