Picture Yourself...
For the last 25 years, Lindsey Wilson
College has been among the region's fastest-growing
colleges. LWC offers a multitude of academic, social,
spiritual and athletic opportunities to help students reach their
potential in and out of the classroom. The Lindsey Wilson
mission permeates the college; it is the cornerstone of the LWC
faculty, staff and student body.
At LWC,
you will find academically challenging programs, a welcoming campus
environment, a Christian atmosphere and outstanding athletics.
This is the most exciting time to be a member of the LWC family.
For the last two-and-half decades, LWC's enrollment has grown by
more than 1,000 students; the LWC faculty has increased by more
than 100 percent; and the size of the A.P. White Campus has more
than doubled. More than a dozen new buildings have been added,
including more than $30 million worth of building projects in the
last seven years.
Students study plants in a rooftop greenhouse on the Jim and
Helen Lee Fugitte Science Center. Students attend contemporary
worship services in the Norma & Glen Hodge Center for
Discipleship. Students enjoy the visual and performing arts in the
W.W. Slider Humanities Center. Students cheer on the Blue Raiders'
baseball, football and softball teams at the new Lindsey Wilson
Sports Park. And students stay in shape and relax in the Doris and
Bob Holloway Health & Wellness Center.
LWC offers a diversity of strong, dynamic academic programs. The
challenging academic programs prepare students for careers and also
for graduate and professional schools, including medicine and law.
LWC's small, family oriented A.P. White Campus includes students
from 102 Kentucky counties, 26 states and 30 countries.
LWC is the perfect place for making friends, making memories and
getting involved. LWC is proudly affiliated with The United Methodist Church. The college's
John B. Begley Chapel, Sumner Campus Ministry Center and Hodge
Center for Discipleship serve as portals for students of all faiths
and creeds to develop their spirituality.
LWC also has one of the best interc
ollegiate sports programs in the country.
Blue Raider teams have won more than a dozen NAIA and national
championships.
The reason for LWC's incredible growth and exceptional campus
atmosphere is because of the commitment by the faculty and staff to
living out the Lindsey Wilson mission, which calls for a
dedication helping all students reach their God-given
potential.
We hope you will consider a school where the professors take a
vested interest in your future; where you can play "fungo golf"
with a friend on the campus lawn and later listen to a classical
pianist; where you can discuss current events with someone from
another country; and where you can be a part of an unrivaled school
spirit tradition.
We hope you will consider Lindsey Wilson
College.
