COLUMBIA, Ky. -- A recent Lindsey Wilson
College student became the fourth Blue Raider to matriculate this
month into a pharmacy program. Jacob Pyles of Columbia received his
white coat from the East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College
of Pharmacy in Johnson City, Tenn.
The ceremony, held Aug. 16, symbolizes a student's
matriculation into a doctor of pharmacy program. Pyles, who is the
son of Doug and Tammy Pyles, joins three other former LWC students who entered
pharmacy school this fall: John Brown of Albany, Ky., Katie Easton
of Crestwood, Ky., and Kelly Upton of Greensburg, Ky., are studying
pharmacy at the University of Kentucky.
