COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College
will host its second EDGE days of the summer on July 24 -
25.
EDGE -- an acronym for education, development, growth and
experience -- gives incoming LWC freshmen and their family members
information about the college's academic, social and residential
life.
Dean of Admissions Traci Pooler encourages incoming students to
take full advantage of the opportunity EDGE provides. "It's so much
more enjoyable and stress-free on the first day of classes in the
fall for the students who attend EDGE day versus the ones who
don't," said Pooler. "We strongly encourage all incoming freshman
to reap the benefits of EDGE for social, academic and residential
reasons."
EDGE offers many opportunities beyond questions about financial aid
and scheduling of classes. Incoming freshmen also get a chance to
participate in games and activities that entertain and build
community by introducing students to their classmates.
"It's not uncommon for students to meet some of their close
friends for the next four years while attending EDGE," Pooler said.
"So, to say that EDGE gives you an advantage would be an
understatement."
