host five open house dates for prospective students and their
The first one of the school year will be Saturday,
Oct. 12. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. CT in Roberta D. Cranmer
Dining & Conference Center, 430 Helen Flatt Drive.
The other Saturday open house dates are: Nov. 16,
Jan. 25, March 22 and April 26.
Each open house is open to all high school students and their
family members, but high school seniors are especially encouraged
"It's never too early to begin the college-search process, but
this is especially a good time of the year for high school seniors
to start focusing on which school they want to attend next fall,"
said LWC Director of Admissions Charity Ferguson. "An open house is a great
way to learn what a college is all about, and what makes a college
the right fit for you."
An open house gives prospective students and their families an
opportunity to experience LWC's undergraduate life. Guests are
given a student-led campus tour, attend a mock class taught by LWC
professors, and learn how affordable an education is at
"Because of the combination of federal, state and institutional
aid, many people do not realize how affordable it is to attend
Lindsey Wilson," Ferguson said. "We have a very generous financial
aid program, and we go to great lengths to help all families afford
a Lindsey Wilson education."
Students who attend an open house can also meet with the college's
athletic coaches and advisers to student organizations. The day
concludes around noon CT with a complimentary lunch in the
college's award-winning Cranmer Dining & Conference
