Fouser Sustainability Lab to be dedicated Wednesday, Sept. 28

The Dedication of the Fouser Sustainability Lab will take place
at 10amCT on Wednesday, September 28 at the Jim & Helen Lee
Fugitte Science Center, Room 329, 411 Helen Flatt Drive, Columbia,
KY, on the A.P. White Campus of Lindsey Wilson College. The event
is part of the 2016 Homecoming Week Celebration.
The Sustainability Lab is being dedicated in recognition of Fouser
Environmental's support of LWC's Sustainability and Energy
Nancy Fouser, a '62 alumna of LWC, is the owner of Fouser
Environmental. Fouser, a native of Columbia, Kentucky, now lives in
Versailles, KY. Fouser started the company with her late husband
Charles E. Fouser in 1989. Fouser's three children, Paul "Ray"
Fouser, Ellen Gormley and Ted Fouser, all hold positions in the
Nancy and Charles both attended Lindsey Wilson College and
graduated in 1962. Nancy was a member of the LWC training
"Charles and I both shared a passion for environmental issues as
well as Lindsey Wilson College," said Fouser. "Our support is a way
of helping advance a field that's so important at a college and
community that mean so much to me."
Fouser is encouraged at the growing field of sustainability and is
positive about the future.
"When we first started the company back in the 80s, you'd hear
people talk about environmental issues in a very narrow way," said
Fouser. "Today I feel like people understand the importance of
sustainability more and it's encouraging to see schools like
Lindsey Wilson College taking steps to educate young minds on
improving our world."
