'Three-Minute Thursday' Keeps Alumni Informed

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- For just 180 seconds a week, LWC alumni can stay in touch with their alma mater.

Every Thursday, LWC Director of Alumni Relations Randy Burns hosts Three-Minute Thursday on the LWC YouTube channel. The program is also posted on LWC's Twitter page, Facebook fan pages and alumni web pages.

"The purpose of 'Three-Minute Thursday' is to keep alumni updated about what's happening at their alma mater in a light-hearted way," said Burns, who is a 1993 LWC alumnus.

The first Three-Minute Thursday of 2011-12 gives alumni a behind-the-scenes look at the shooting of the birthday card that is mailed to LWC alumni.

"We know alumni lead busy lives, but if they can give us just 180 second a week, we can let them know what's hapening with their alma mater," Burns said.
