Coach Chris Wells begins his fifth season in 2008-09 as Lindsey Wilson's women's golf coach.

Wells has guided the Blue Raiders to four straight NAIA National Tournaments, including a program-best runner-up finish in 2007.

In 2008, Wells guided the Blue Raiders to their second straight top-10 finish with a tie for sixth at the national championships.

Lindsey Wilson women's golf has won four consecutive NAIA Region XI Championships and four straight Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament titles.

Wells is a four-time NAIA Region XI Women's Golf Coach of the Year and a three-time MSC Women's Golf Coach of the Year.

Over the last two seasons, Wells has guided the Blue Raiders to 19 tournament wins. During the 2007 season, the Blue Raiders captured 11 wins and a second-place finish.

Wells has coached the only three NAIA All-Americans in the program's history and the 2007 individual national champion.

In addition to being the women's golf coach; Wells is also the assistant athletic director and the sports information director.

Wells and his wife, Amy, reside in Columbia and have one daughter, Reilly.
