Troy Elmore is from nearby Campbellsville, Ky. Elmore received a bachelor of science degree in animal sciences from the University of Kentucky. He also holds a master of divinity degree from Asbury (Kentucky) Theological Seminary. He will begin working on a masters of arts in christian leadership at Lindsey Wilson in the summer of 2009. Troy is an ordained United Methodist pastor and has served churches in the Columbia District since 1995. He currently serves as the Assistant Pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church in Columbia, Ky.

In addition to his teaching and advising responsibilities at Lindsey Wilson, Elmore serves as the college's chaplain.
