Danette Hurley joined the Lindsey Wilson College family in 2010,
with the exciting addition of the first Tennessee campus in
Gallatin. She is a lifelong resident of TN and received here
education there. This program brings such an opportunity to
students. Students will be able to enter this program with an
Associate's degree or 60 hours of education and complete the
Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and Counseling degree in 18
months. With a Bachelor's degree you will be able to
enter the Master of Education program in Counseling and Human
Development. The masters program is a 2 year program and
provides you with the 60 educational hours for licensure
eligibility as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of
TN.
Ten years of experience as an instructor at the community
college level exposed the many difficulties of everyday life that
affect students, often these difficulties do not allow students to
further in their education. This program allows very busy
students who need to stay in the area the opportunity to obtain
their Bachelor's degree and even their Master's degree in a weekend
format: Friday 4:00-9:00pm; Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm.
Lindsey Wilson College promotes giving back to the
community. Not only will students benefit from helping others
in their own community, the community will benefit from the
students.
Danette's passion for education and excitement about this
excellent program makes the mission of Lindsey Wilson College,
"Every student, every day" her personal desire for each student in
the program.
