Micca Ratliff has always been a strong believer in higher education and welcomed the opportunity to help students continue their education and is excited to be part of Lindsey Wilson College as the coordinator for programs at Big Sandy Community and Technical College on the Prestonsburg's Campus. Mrs. Ratliff takes great pride in Lindsey Wilson College, School of Professional Counseling's program not only as a coordinator but also as an alumna.

Mrs. Ratliff's educational journey started in 2003 at Big Sandy Community and Technical College. It was in 2004 that she graduated with her Associates of Arts. Due to Lindsey Wilson College, School of Professional Counseling's unique weekend format she was able to continued her education in her hometown of Prestonsburg, KY. In 2006 she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Human Services/Counseling and 2008 with a Master's of Education in Human Growth and Development with specialization in Mental Health Counseling. Mrs. Ratliff is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Kentucky and a Nation Certified Counselor.

Mrs. Ratliff has served as the Prestonsburg coordinator since 2007. Having great pride in her community and the mountains of Appalachia she works diligently with student to obtain an educational dream without the leaving the comforts of home.
