Nicole has been with Lindsey Wilson School of Professional
Counseling since 2008 and enthusiastically supports the
mission of SPC. She describes herself as student centered
in her role as professor and Regional Academic Director.
Nicole's research interests involve social and cultural
factors that affect the self-concept. She is currently
examining the cultural worldview of Appalachians and implications
for counseling.
Nicole has returned to her ancestral roots in Eastern
Kentucky. She currently reside in the beautiful mountains of
Pike County with my husband and colleague, Daniel, and their
daughter, Indigo Elise.
