Activities and Events
The International students at Lindsey Wilson
College participate in many activities throughout their stay,
that allow them to share their culture. You can read more
about these events below.
International Student Festival/A World
to Experience
In the fall, LWC sponsors this special festival which
allows LWC students, faculty, staff and local community
members to learn about international students' customs and
cultures. International students cook special ethnic foods
and display unique cultural items. In
addition, some international students will have the
opportunity to give presentations, speeches, dances, and
songs. Pictures of past festival events can be seen

Shopping and Visiting historical
places
We take students for shopping outings in Bowling
Green, Nashville, and Lexington during the fall and spring
breaks. Also, ESL students and exchange students have
had chances to visit places such as the NASA Space &
Rocket Center and other historical locations such
as Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Special Foreign Language Awareness Day
in April
As an international student you have a chance to
teach your native language to our LWC students, faculty, staff
and members of the local community. Anyone
interested in learning your native language will visit your
booth which is set up in our gym and learn to say a few greetings
and words. Everybody has a great time!
