Lindsey Wilson
College (LWC) had 95 international students
representing 34 different countries who participated in the
fall of 2011. Below is the list of countries from
which our international students came. The majority of them are
degree seeking student-athletes (75.79%) while some are degree
seeking non-athletes (8.42%) and some are exchange students
(15.79%). The most popular major among our international students
is Business Administration, followed by Physical Education,
Communication, and Biology. You can meet fellow students here on
our beautiful campus in Columbia, Kentucky.

Student Exchange Programs and Sister Schools
Overseas
Lindsey Wilson College has sister schools overseas and every
year several students from universities with which Lindsey Wilson
has agreements come to study at LWC for either a semester or one
year while pursuing their degrees at their home universities.
Conversely, Lindsey Wilson students can study at their overseas
schools for a similar length of time. For many years, we have had
several exchange students from Japan, Northern Ireland, and South
Korea.

Our past BEI students were students from Queen's University of
Belfast, University of Ulster, and other Irish universities.
Reciprocally, these universities offer a limited number of places
on the Irish American Scholarship Programs each year. An LWC
student who is in junior standing with a GPA of 3.2 above is
eligible to apply for a semester or two semesters of study aborad
in Northern Ireland. The student may choose courses in any
subject area available for which tuition fees will be waived while
living cost and other costs are the responsibility of the
student.
