Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Jayne Hopkins obtained a bachelor's degree in bilingual elementary education from Loyola University of Chicago. Upon graduation, she taught fourth-grade English Language Learners for a year in Chicago and then moved to Cary, N.C., after marrying her husband, Brandon, who is a North Carolina native.

Jayne joined the Lindsey Wilson staff in summer 2009. Her responsibilities include creating and implementing extra-curricular programming for students, sponsoring the Student Activities Board, scheduling campus facilities, and managing summer camp programs.

Jayne enjoys riding mountain bikes with her husband, Brandon, who is a member of the LWC cycling team.
